Taking Obelit® also keeps patients from gaining weight back after prior weight loss.

The diet of the patient should include three main meals, containing the daily dose of fat, carbohydrate, and protein.

The daily intake of fat should be no more than 30% of your total daily caloric intake (e.g., eating 1200 calories per day, no more than 360 of those calories should be in the form of fat).

The dose of Obelit® should be omitted if a meal is missed or does not contain fat.

Treatment with Obelit® should not continue for more than 6 months and should be stopped after 12 weeks if patient has been unable to lose at least 5 % of the body weight.

If you lose enough weight for your BMI to fall below 28 kg/m², Obelit® can no longer be supplied.

    Missing a dose

If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not exceed the doctor's recommended dose
